RETURNS & EXCHANGES POLICY – WAVEFIT

1. Our Commitment

At WaveFit, we take pride in offering carefully curated luxury beachwear and resortwear. We want you to love every piece you purchase.

This policy is provided in addition to your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.

2. Change of Mind (Store Policy)

We offer exchanges or store credit for change-of-mind purchases, subject to the following conditions:

  • Request must be made within 7 days of purchase (in-store) or delivery (online)
  • Items must be:
    - unworn
    - unwashed
    - in original condition
    - with all tags attached
  • Original receipt or proof of purchase is required

Please note:

  • Refunds are not provided for change of mind
  • Store credit is valid for 6 months

3. Sale Items

All sale or discounted items are final sale and cannot be returned or exchanged for change of mind.

This does not affect your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.

4. Faulty or Damaged Items

If an item is faulty, damaged, or not as described, you are entitled to a remedy under the Australian Consumer Law.

Depending on the issue, this may include:

  • Repair
  • Replacement
  • Refund

Items will be assessed to determine whether the issue is a major or minor fault.

5. What is Not Considered a Fault

The following are not considered faults:

  • General wear and tear
  • Damage caused by misuse or improper care
  • Incorrect sizing or fit preference
  • Minor variations in color due to lighting or screen differences

6. Hygiene Policy

For hygiene reasons, the following items cannot be returned unless faulty:

  • Swimwear without hygiene liner
  • Worn swimwear

7. Online Orders

For online purchases:

  • Customers are responsible for return shipping costs (unless item is faulty)
  • We recommend using a tracked shipping method
  • WaveFit is not responsible for items lost in transit

8. Processing Time

  • Exchanges and store credits are processed within 2–5 business days after receiving the item
  • Refunds (if applicable under ACL) are issued to the original payment method
